2.00 pm Lima city Tour
- You will learn about pre-Hispanic Lima, colonial Lima and modern day Lima.
We start by visiting “Huaca Pucllana” (1) a magnificent administrative and ceremonial centre of Lima culture, built in the 4th century A.D. and considered by the Incas “naupallaqta” or a sacred town.
We show you the historic center: Republic promenade, St. Martins Square, main square, Government Palace, cathedral, Archbishops palace, Municipal Palace, old streets with colonial mansions and Moorish style balconies.
We visit the church and convent of San Francisco the largest monument of colonial art in the Americas; its choir loft and the monks library; sacristan, with paintings by Zurbaran and Rivera; the main cloisters large patio decorated with tiles from Seville from the 16th century, Moorish arches and the catacombs, underground crypts of the colonial period.
The tour continues to the more traditional residential districts: El Olivar de San Isidro, with olive trees brought from Spain in the 17th century, Miraflores central park and Larco Mar; a symbol of modern day Lima, a center full of international attractions, restaurants, shops and also a great place to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view over the Pacific Ocean.

12.00 p.m. Hotel pickup and transfer to bus terminal toward Nazca.

- The Mysterious Nazca Lines.
- The Nazca leave an amazing legacy, perhaps the most astonishing of all the ancient Peruvian cultures: The Nazca Lines. A large expanse called the Nazca plains is covered by these mysterious markings. From above you can apreciate geometric lines, shapes and sillohuettes of animals and birds etched into this dry, arid and rocky terrain.
8.00 a.m.
Flight over the Nazca lines: approx. 40 minutes, you will see the spider, monkey, humming bird and condor figures.
3.30 p.m. Travel to Arequipa
Nazca – Arequipa, journey lasts 8 hours, arriving in Arequipa at around 11.30 p.m.
Pickup from the bus terminal and transfer to hotel.

- Visit to the Colca Canyon
8.00 a.m. Hotel pickup and travel to the Colca Canyon, throughout the journey there is beautiful scenery made up of agricultural terracing and snow covered mountains. We will also see vicuna reserves, at around 1.00 p.m. we arrive in Chivay then go to the Calera baths (15 minutes from the town) before returning to Chivay to spend the night in a hostel. In the afternoon there will be a chance to visit the handy crafts market in Chivay

6.00 a.m. Continental breakfast in the hotel at the specified time, travel to the Condor Cross, from where you can appreciate the depth and beauty of the canyon and witness the flight of the condors; the lords and masters of this great canyon.
On the way back we visit several villages in the region: Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque. After lunch in Chivay we then travel back to Arequipa arriving at around 18:30.

An archaeological site, one of the most important cemeteries in the Americas with 12 meter tall constructions. Each tower contains up to 10 mummies.

Island Uros , Taquile and Amantaní
8:00 a.m. Pickup from hotel and transfer to the port.
We navigate Lake Titicaca heading towards the Uros floating islands; one of the most important and well known. The houses on the islands are made entirely from ´Totora´ a reed plant that grows in abundance on the shores of the lake. The plant is harvested and used to make boats, houses, handy crafts as well as the islands themselves.
We then make our way to Amantani Island, one of the most beautiful in the region; the locals weave beautiful cloth and traditional outfits. We spend the night on the island in family homes (there are no hotels) which is a fantastic opportunity to get to know more about the lives of these wonderful people.

We visit Taquile Island, another beautiful location with amazing views over the lake. We then travel back to Puno.

Monkey Island:
We arrive in the biodiversity capital of Peru; Puerto Maldonado – reception in the airport. Our trip begins with a city tour in our bus.
We then head to Capitania port to board the boat on the Madre de Dios River, as we travel through this natural environment we will observe capaybara, caiman, turtles, herons, cormoranes and other species of animals.
On arrival at the Ecoamazonia Lodge we enjoy an exquisite welcome drink, settle into our bungalows and eat lunch.
In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialist guide, we visit the first and only place in the heart of the Madre de Dios River: Monkey Island, five minutes from the lodge.
During the walk we enjoy breathtaking scenery with exuberant flora, and observe several species of monkey in their natural habitat and a wide variety of birds.
We then enjoy the most impressive part of the day in the jungle, the sunset. On arrival back at the lodge we eat a tasty dinner.

Lost Trail
After breakfast we start our adventure into the virgin forest with a local guide; trekking internal paths to arrive at the lost trail, it constitutes an ecosystem providing shelter and food for a great variety of animals and birds with multi colored plumage, the majestic jaguar and many species of fish. The zone is unique and belongs to the Ecoamazonia Reserve who preserve and protect it. There are massive swamps and aquatic animals in the zone. We then visit the extraordinary Amazon Look out point constructed at the top of the largest tree in the jungle: the Shihuahuaco. From up here you can really appreciate the magical jungle. Following this we enjoy a pleasant canoe trip around the lake before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we visit local flora plantations and a local family. We return to the lodge and eat dinner.

Gamitana Or Briolo River:
After breakfast we embark on another magical jungle excursion during which we navigate the Madre de Dios River to arrive at the point where we begin our trek toward the Gamitana / Briolo River; its source lies deep within the virgin jungle. The river forms an extensive network of canals along which we return in canoe observing close up turtles, caiman, birds and numerous species of insects. We also get the chance to do spot of fishing and take a swim in the water. Return and dinner.

Aramu Muru

Situated 35 kilometers from Puno and very close to Lake Titicaca, amidst green fields, we find what is considered one of the wonders of the region: The door of Aramu Muru, a stone construction seven meters wide and seven meters tall.
